Stop mineral scaling by introducing a measured amount of polyphosphate into the water. Most water supplies are usually saturated with large amounts of minerals, such as calcium carbonate (lime scale), copper, iron, copper, iron, and manganese, which can cause corrosion and scaling. When water is saturated with minerals, any increase in temperature or pressure drop will cause the minerals to form scale.So, water passing through a water faucet, water heater, or water line, will change the waters ability to hold the dissolved minerals in suspension.

The mineral molecules in the Scaltrol Water Treatment System, which have a positive charge, are attracted to the negative charge of the polyphosphate.The mineral molecules are unable to join together, so scale is unable to form. Scaltrol has developed a patented venturi dispensing head which provides an effective and efficient feed rate of the polyphosphates.

A scaltrol unit is easy to install because it is non-electrical, non-magnetic, and non-mechanical.

Please Note: The Scaltrol unit may be fitted on hot or cold waterlines.Water pressure for effective dispensing of Scaltrol should NOT exceed 55 PSI and check valve must be installed before the Scaltrol unit.The top of the unit must be fitted in a horizontal position.
