Pressure Washer Parts FAQ's
What should I use to seal threaded joints?
Use appropriate thread sealant on NPT joints. Do not apply tape or paste to quick‑connects or BSPP joints that seal with gaskets or bonded seals.
My fittings look like M22. How do I avoid ordering the wrong variant?
Confirm male vs. female ends and the exact variant listed on your current parts or in your manual. When unsure, use an adapter kit or contact support.
Can I run hot water through any hose or gun?
Only if the component is listed as hot‑water compatible and its max temperature meets your application. Always check the product specification.
How do I make sure a part can handle my machine’s pressure and flow?
Match the component’s maximum PSI and GPM to your washer. Choose parts rated equal to or above your machine’s specifications.
What size quick-connect do I need for spray tips and hoses?
Most spray tips and many lances use 1/4 inch QC, while many pro hose and gun connections use 3/8 inch QC. Verify the size on your tool before ordering.
Are NPT and BSPP threads compatible?
No. NPT (tapered) and BSPP (parallel) are different thread standards and do not seal together. Use the correct adapter when transitioning between them.
