An Oil Absorbing Filter is the most effective way to remove oil from water. Absorbing up to 20x its own weight in oil, this 4-inch by 19-inch BilgeBOOM Boom absorbs oil while repelling water. Its light weight and fitted attachments makes it easy to transport, while its strong skin makes it highly durable. They can also be squeezed out for repeated use.
Perfect for sumps and bilges, this small boom will fit into difficult to reach places and is easily retrieved by loops on each end. BilgeBoom absorbs petroleum based fluids such as diesel fuel, engine oil, gasoline and transmission fluids but repels water. Made with a double skin, this boom won’t tear or shed its filler. Each BilgeBoom absorbs 1 gallon of oil. Avoid fines for polluting State or Federal waters.
