A construction meter is a portable meter that can be moved throughout a municipality to legally hook up to a fire hydrant. This Kit gives you the tools you need to quickly and easily get hooked up. A Construction Meter Kit allows a contractor to fill their fresh water holding tank rapidly. For example a 500 gallon tank can be filled in approximately 5 minutes compared to using a water hose that can take from 1 to 2 hours from a standard water hose connection. This can be a huge benefit since it can save a considerable amount of time during and between job(s).
This Hook-Up Kit includes:
Fire Hydrant to Water Hose Adapter (Fire Plug Adapter)
Use this Brass Fire Plug Adapter to hook a standard 3/4″ Garden Hose to a 2 1/2″ Fire Hose Hydrant plug.
Adjustable Fire Hydrant Wrench
Adjustable fire hydrant wrench to open most fire hydrants. Has single head for use on rocker lugs and pin lugs.
Vinyl Fire Hose (25-Feet)
1 1/2″ Vinyl Fire Hose with 2 1/2″ FNST x 1 1/2″ MPT.
