What Counts as a Soft Wash Detergent?
Soft wash detergents include surfactants that help sodium hypochlorite (SH) or other cleaners wet out and cling, rinse aids and neutralizers that help protect vegetation and finishes, and additives that manage foam, odor, or dwell. The right blend lets low pressure do the work while preserving roofs, siding, and trim.
Always read the product label and Safety Data Sheet (SDS), test in an inconspicuous area, and adjust your solution based on soil load, temperature, and surface sensitivity.

Never mix bleach with acids or ammonia. Do not combine oxygen-based cleaners with bleach. Only blend chemicals that the label says are compatible, wear appropriate PPE, and ventilate enclosed areas.
