DRIPLOC’s recent redesign adds some exciting new features like the side mount brackets. These new brackets are designed with multiple elongated axel placement holes that allow the bracket to mounted on angled curbs at an angle up to 45 degrees.They also can be laid on their sides which presents a very low axel hole to be fitted in areas with very low clearance. Because of their larger, taller “L” bracket style, they can be mounted on the side of fan curb allowing them to work well on fanbases with reducers. The Upper Hinge Assembly was reengineered not only to make them stronger but also by eliminating the welded on knuckle on the bottom of the hinge, we can now sit on top of a shelf and hinge the fan. In addition to all of that we added a face cap plate which reinforces the fan bases to add strength where needed on larger or aging fans.
Lastly, the Type#2s is expandable meaning if additional support is along the fan base then you can simply purchase an additional “Upper Hinge Assembly”, slide it onto the axel along with the 2 upper assemblies.
